A list of games and planned European release dates has found its way onto the web allegedly from a Spanish distributor. So while it is certainly too early to know if these dates are true or when these games might hit North America, seeing some of Nintendo’s bigger upcoming 3DS titles on the list makes it at least worth a look.

The list has Kid Icarus: Uprising and Star Fox 64 3D both coming out on May 6 and lists Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for June 17. Interesting to think Nintendo might be dropping two of its anticipated games on the same day, but then again, giving new owners more games so close after launch could be the exact right thing to do. Nintendo games also have a way of selling for a long time after release so perhaps they are not as worried about initial-week sales or splitting the market with two flying-shooter style games.

Other notable games on the list include Resident Evil: The Mercenaries and Dead or Alive: Dimensions.

Ocarina is a great Zelda game and fans are certainly excited about playing the game on their new 3DS. Hopefully it will hit its June window and hopefully Nintendo and their third parties can keep a steady stream of hit games coming out for the 3DS. With Sony’s NGP waiting in the wings, now is a great time for Nintendo to establish a lead in the next-generation handheld battle and great games will certainly help.
