The estimated jackpot will be $50 million, with a cash value of $35.8 million, according to the Powerball website. The jackpot could increase if sales further lottery projections, according to officials.
The Powerball numbers in the previous drawing on January 29 were 09-12-15-31-60, with the Powerball being 02 with a Powerball of 2x. The one lucky winner of the huge $396.9 million jackpot hailed from Florida, with the ticket purchased at a 7-Eleven in Bonita Springs. The retailer also received $100,000 for selling the winning ticket.
The initial jackpot was believed to be $394 million, but was revised to $396.9 million, according to the Florida Lottery Commission. The colossal top prize was due to the jackpot rolling over 24 times since the previous jackpot win on November 6.
