With an estimated jackpot of around $78.3 million, the full line-up of numbers for the draw were: 14, 19, 61, 62 and 64, with a Powerball of 4. There was a X2 Power Play in place meaning some participants had the ability to double their winnings.

According to the official lottery website, no one won the jackpot, meaning the next draw on Wednesday has been upped to around $87 Million, an amount that carries a cash option of approximately $70.2 million.

The website says that eight ticket holders matched four balls and the red Powerball this weekend, a result which comes with a prize of $50,000. Of those, six players had used the X2 Power Play, meaning they each walked away $100,000 richer.

The game is simple: Powerball costs $2 per play, with anyone who wants to take part choosing five white balls numbered between one and 69, then one number between one and 26 for the red Powerball. Draws are held on Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET, also hosted live on YouTube, where the most recent can be watched.

To win the jackpot, players must match all five white balls and the red Powerball. Still, matching five white balls alone will still result in a $1 million prize.

Most winnings are delivered in cash, although the lucky jackpot winners are given the option of choosing the prize to be either an annuity or a full cash payment.

The annuity option is sent in 30 graduated payments, which will increase by five percent every time funds are deposited, lottery officials say on the Powerball website.

The organization announced last month that a 48-year-old woman from Delaware won a $1,000,000 prize after matching five white balls in the May 16 draw.

The month prior, North Carolina woman Shanika Miller won over a million using numbers made up of birthdays and ages. Her Power Play ticket matched numbers on five white balls, winning her around $2 million. After state and federal taxes, Miller took home $1,415,001, saying she would use the winnings to buy a house and pay bills.
